DC for Obama Inauguration Weekend Advocacy Summit

***SAVE THE DATE!*** Change is coming to Washington. Will you join us? If you are in DC during the historic Inauguration weekend, join fellow Obama supporters from across the nation to discuss strategies to promote President-Elect Obama's agenda at the Inauguration Weekend Advocacy Summit. DC for Obama (DCFO) is partnering with numerous other Obama campaign groups and progressive organizations to host this grassroots event, taking place on Saturday, January 17th, 2009 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Navy Memorial, 701 Pennsylvania Ave NW (Navy/Archives Metro Stop). The Summit's goal is to provide a forum for the many Obama volunteers and supporters from around the country to network with hundreds of other progressives, learn the latest in advocacy tactics, and hear from senior policy advisors on key issues including health care, the environment, education, immigration, the economy, and many others.
