'Closer to the Dream' film, Exclusive Sneak Preview Screening

NBOIG (http://www.meetup.com/National-Barack-Obama-Inauguration-Meetup/) and DC for Obama (www.dcforobama.com) are showing 'Closer to the Dream', a documentary on the candidacy and election of Barack Obama. Filmmakers Felin-Cohen have put together a film that really captures the feeling of campaign the voluntarism, excitement and hope. From early primaries to the election, we get to experience the campaign through the filmmakers lens and how the candidacy and election of Barack Obama brings us closer to Martin Luther King's vision put forth in his 'I have a dream' speech where one is judged upon his character, not ones ethnicity. We are very fortunate to have filmmakers Felin-Cohen at this screening where we will get to hear about their inspiration, thoughts and plans for this project.
