The Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies - SAIS - of The Johns Hopkins University in Washington, D.C., is one of the nation's leading graduate schools devoted to the study of international relations. The school is neither a vocational, purely scientific, nor a liberal arts school dedicated to the pursuit of learning for learning's sake.
