Description
NomadsLand plans on hosting a special preview of its official launch site for offline international community building for social issue cinema. Also: Buddha's Lost Children is a feature-length documentary film about a Thai Buddhist monk who - armed only with his faith and skills and master boxer skills - wages an inspirational battle to help orphaned children, fight drug abuse, and preserve a vanishing way of life. Buddha's Lost Children won the top documentary prize at the AFI Festival in Los Angeles receiving the Grand Jury Prize for Documentary (2006). The film also was awarded the City of Rome Prize (2006), at the Asiaticafilmediale in Rome and a Silver Dove (2006) at DOK Leipzig. Filmmakers will joining via video conference for Q&A.
