This series of seven films from the two Germanies and Switzerland portrays the extraordinary lives of outstanding artists.
All films are in German with English subtitles.

DVD, Director: Dominique de Rivaz; Cast: Vadim Glowna, Jürgen Vogel, Anatole Taubman In May 1747, the aging Johann Sebastian Bach meets the young King Frederick II of Prussia in Potsdam. For one week, these two titans of the Baroque era play out a father-and-son relationship that is sometimes painful, yet often humorous. For this film, Dominique de Rivaz received the 2004 Swiss prize for best fiction film.
