(20s and 30s) Wknd on the Chesapeake Bay - Tilghman Island, MD

Friday to Sunday on Tilghman Island! http://www.tilghmanisland.com/index.php Tilghman is an island on the eastern shore of Maryland in the Chesapeake Bay - it's right next to St. Michael's and features incredible views, sailing, coastal air, fishing, and of course fresh seafood at restaurants nestled along the docks and marina. TENTATIVE ITINERARY: Friday Night: 7pm - arrival on Tilghman Island, check in to the B&B we've reserved for the weekend - one of the following rustic inns, or similar: Chesapeake Wood Duck Inn ($149-179 double occ.) Lazy Jack Inn ($186-269 double occ.) 8:30pm - meet the other travelers! dinner and drinks on the waterfront. Stuff selves with seafood and cocktails. Saturday: 9:30am - breakfast at Inn 10am - head to historic St. Michael's to check out the boutiques, art galleries, and antique stores 12pm - lunch in St. Michael's 2pm - check out the Eastern Shore Brewing Co.'s Tasting Room! 4pm - back to Tilghman to have a few beers on the waterfront and get supplies for the next activity. 6pm - Bring windbreakers and aforementioned supplies to sunset cruise on a 'Bay built' yacht. We'll reserve the whole ship, and they're usually BYO, so this should be a good time. 8pm - back on land, quick stop at the inn to freshen up. 9pm and onwards - dinner and drinks in Tilghman Sunday: 10:00am - breakfast at Inn 12/1pm - checkout, exchange numbers with your new buddies, head home! Tentative price (if it goes up, you'll have the option to have your deposit refunded and be taken off the event): $395, which includes: 2 nights stay at a historic Inn on Tilghman Island (based on double occupancy - you'll have to share a room with another traveler. The price would obviously go up for you if you don't want to share a room, but that's fine, too.) Dinner + 2 drinks Friday night Sunset cruise on Saturday with unlimited beer + wine on the yacht Dinner + 2 drinks on Saturday night Price does not include: any transportation costs or lunch in St. Michael's on saturday. You'll have to arrange your own car or, if there's enough demand, we can figure out some sort of shared transportation from DC. This event requires a $100 deposit so I can reserve hotel rooms, call up the restaurants, etc, and not have to personally pay the price of any no-shows. The deposit will be deducted from the total price when you pay the balance. Full payment is required seven days ahead of the trip!! PLEASE NOTE: IF WE DON'T HAVE AT LEAST 3/4 OF THE MAX. NUMBER OF ATTENDEES BY THE "RSVP UNTIL" DATE, THE EVENT WILL BE CANCELED AND ANY DEPOSIT/PAYMENTS FULLY REFUNDED.
