ANANDA: SELF-REALIZATION CENTER OF KINGSTON, RHODE ISLAND Meetup

Every week on Sunday between 10am to Noon we gather at 40 Collins Rd in Hopkinton at Ramrod Farms/Turning Point Theaputic Riding Stables. We meet in a beautifully remodeled barn with rustic wood sidings on a 150 acre horse ranch. We start off our gatherings with a prayer, chanting of spiritual songs and a guided meditation for at least 20 to 30 minutes. The Purifcation Ceremony is done at this point, where individually we write something down on a piece of paper and burn it up at our altar. It is a way of free the heart of any blocks or bad attitudes. There is a time to repeat positive thought affirmations at the of purification. Readings are then done from the Christian Bible and the Hindu Bhagavad Gita, to show the oneness of the teachings of Lord Jesus Christ and the teachings of Bhagavan Krishna. A short inspirational talk is given about the readings and how they relate to daily life. There is a blessing of the love offering after that. Spiritual Songs are song by our small choir. Then we end our gathering with the Festival of Light, a ritual dedicated the oneness of God in All Religions. Finally, we close by doing Healing Prayers for family members, friends or people in need throughout the world. A vegetarian potluck follows the service at Noon.
