Red, White & Boom Independence Day Celebration @ the Moonlight Amphitheatre

We're busy planning the details for the 41st annual fireworks display that will light up the sky on Saturday, July 4 in the newly renovated Moonlight Amphitheatre. The annual Independence Day Celebration held in Brengle Terrace Park, 1200 Vale Terrace Drive, is free to the public with fireworks scheduled to begin at 9 pm. Parking is $5 per vehicle at the park. Parking and shuttle services are available at no charge from Vista High School, One Panther Way, Vista.

A fundraising gourmet BBQ will precede the fireworks display in the Moonlight Amphitheatre. Dinner includes: reserved parking adjacent to the amphitheatre; a gourmet barbecue dinner with beverages; and reserved seating in the Moonlight Amphitheatre for San Diego County’s largest aerial fireworks display. Dinner is $60 per person or $450 for a table of eight when purchased before June 14. Individual dinner tickets will be $65 per person and $500 per table of eight starting June 15.

Dinner seating begins at 5:30 p.m. with service from 6-7:30 p.m. Reservations are required for dinner. Call (760) 726-1340 ext. 1571 to make reservations.

The park gates open at 7:00 a.m. with a day full of family-friendly activities scheduled with food and beverage booths, picnicking and a static display of vintage military equipment. Guests can enjoy live musical entertainment at the Moonlight Amphitheatre from 3:15 pm to 10:00 pm.

This year's entertainment lineup includes performances by Two of Us Plus One, the Grand Juntion Band, The Side Street Strutters, The Platt Brothers and the Fabulous Ultratones headlining the show. Kids can enjoy The Lindley Lopez Circus in the park before the fireworks.

The community is asked to be sure household pets are secured safely during the fireworks display.
