Event details: The Sixth Annual Family Scarecrow Building Workshop
Description
The Sixth Annual Family Scarecrow Building Workshop is being held at the Pungo-Blackwater Library Saturday, October 17th from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Families are invited to come out and work on a scarecrow to be displayed at the front of the library and then voted on the following week. Participants are welcomed to bring their own supplies and are welcomed to used the supplies provided by the library. The "skeletons" of the scarecrows are provided.
The library is looking for supplies for the program: bleach bottles, long sleeved shirts, long pants, big hats (any odd hats), gloves, and other accessories. If you are interested in donating any of the supplies, please bring them to the library by October 15th.
Families interested in participating are asked to call the library at 757-385-7790 to register. Register early for this exciting and popular program!
