Holidays are over time to get back on track with my hill work-outs. We usually run a warm-up loop around the park and then run a couple of long hills. We have been doing 10 - 12 "steep" hill runs returning via the long hill. We finish with 2 long hills and 2 loops around the park. The area where we run the hills is very spacious so everyone can run their own pace and as many hills as they would like. "Running hills breaks up your rhythm and forces your muscles to adapt to different stresses. The result? You become a stronger runner."
