Event details: Micah "Bam-Bamm" White
Description
Comedian Micah "Bam-Bamm" White prepares to take his career to the next level with his move to Los Angeles. His move wouldn't be complete without a final farewell show for his hometown supporters. Since his first show on March 23, 1996 at Ree's Lounge in Fairfield (Birmingham), Al., he has waited patiently for his time to shine. He moved to Richmond, Va. September 29, 1996 and continued his new found career. The first week he moved to Richmond he literally called every night club in the city offering to start a comedy night. Orlando Robertson, owner of "Slip at Shockoe" was the first to give the young "whipper snapper" a shot. From Armani's (Steve Branch, Jesse Pryor, & Mike Brimm), to hosting major concerts Bam-Bamm was becoming a demand in the Richmond area. Then the Richmond Funny Bone opened, which was the outlet Bam-Bamm needed and had been waiting for to display his talent on a national level. This is what has taken him to Los Angeles to face the greatest opportunity he's ever had in his career. Being so grateful for what Richmond, Va. has done to help further his career, Bam--Bamm will deliver a farewell show that you don't want to miss!
Special invited guest; Members of First Baptist Church, Decatur St Rev. Dwight Jones
