Description
Bears Ventura will be presenting a Rainbow Comedy Night on November 12, 2009. This will be a fundraising benefit for The Ventura County Rainbow Alliance. The benefit will be held at the Ventura Harbor Comedy Club 1559 Spinnaker Drive, Suite 205 located in the Ventura Harbor Village.
As you may know, due to the financial crisis in the State of California, the Ventura County Rainbow Alliance (VCRA) sustained devastating cuts to its HIV/AIDS funding in July. The cuts Governor Schwarzenegger imposed included over $310,000 dollars--70% of the agency's annual budget.
The doors open at 7:30PM and the show will began at 8:00PM. Tickets for this event are $20.00. There will be a prize drawing and a raffle. Information on purchasing tickets on the internet can be found at www.bearsventura.org. Tickets may be purchased in person at ArchiTexture Salon and Spa 25 S. Ventura Avenue Ventura, CA.
