AC Slater is a 5 piece pop/punk act based in Southern Illinois. The band began in the early summer of 2009 and shortly thereafter began playing shows scattered across the Midwest. Musically speaking, AC Slater is comparable to the likes of Blink-182, New Found Glory, and the Starting Line. The band is firmly rooted in the sounds of 90's pop punk, though hardcore/punk influences such as, Champion, H20, and Comeback Kid are evident as well. Live shows are a blast: PUNK JUMPS, CIRCLE PITS, PILE UPS, SING ALONGS, STAGE DIVES, MIC SHOTS, AND MORE! You really can't go wrong with these guys, come out to a show, you'll be glad you did.
