I see Dream Theater on the demand list as well. Porcupine Tree has toured with them before. What a night that would be!! Think about it people!

Great band!! I agree with Gordon T. Lots of 70's influence. But with the intention not to just copy, but enhance. Side projects as well are origional but farmilliar at the same time. Check out FISH,Sunsets On Boulavard, lots of Steven Wilson guitar and production.

Looks like we've reached "critical crawl" stage.

Ok, so we've got 226 people presumably from Vancouver who want to see these guys do a show here. If each one of us got one other person to make the demand, that'd be 552. Better yet, 2 or 3 till we get critical mass. PT often plays Seattle, so it wouldn't be a stretch for them to make their way up here. We just need to let them know there's an audience.

The best band ever!!! Everything from ambient to metal...with amazingly creative flow and awesome songwriting. This band has something to offer everyone. There is also many other projects from the band members, particularly front man,Steven Wilson. If you are looking for different...you've definately found it!!!

Porcupine Tree
Porcupine Tree is unquestionably one of the most difficult-to-categorize and innovative bands working today. The music is breathtaking, ranging from psychedelic trip-hop to progressive metal, and a compendium of other sounds and genres in between. The band was founded by Steven Wilson, initially as a solo project. The first major release was ‘On the Sunday of Life...’ in 1992, an album of psychedelia and studio experiments which bears little relation to the band's current sound. From here, Wilson expanded the sound, creating the progressive rock/ambient trance fusion on the 30-minute long single “Voyage 34.” One of the only constants in...
