      Sugar Bear Chopper Museum Presents - 1st Annual - The Gathering at Choppertown 2018

      The Sugar Bear Chopper Museum Presents --The Gathering at Choppertown 2018 It will be an amazing fun-filled 10 days during the Sturgis Black Hills Rally--Friday, August 3rd to Sunday, August 12th 2018. Each day (9:00 am to 6:00 pm) will be different with planned activities but in the same beautiful location. Check the website for an updated schedule of activities as we get closer to the Rally and/or sign up for the newsletter - go to "Choppertown" is the 100 acre property  located on SD Highway 79 - 4 miles North of the Pappy Hoel Campground/Full Throttle Saloon on the East Side of Hwy 79.  This is the home of the Sugar Bear Chopper Museum [501(c)(3) non-profit organization] that is currently in development with the mission to gather, educate, and celebrate the custom motorcycle.  We are currently fundraising and accepting donations which are tax deductible. Net proceeds from this event will go to the Building Fund for the Sugar Bear Chopper Museum. Tickets for The Gathering at Choppertown are $20 per Adult person online, and $25 per Adult person onsite, and children 13 -17 years $15 online and  $20 onsite and children 12 years and younger are free. All minors must be accompanied by an Adult.   This provides access for the entire rally (10 days).  You can come one day or everyday. Pay online, bring your printed ticket(s)  or  we can scan your ticket(s) on your smartphone. You will receive a wrist band upon your 1st visit.  Please note that we do not have overnight facilities and we are not a campground.  We are working on app for the event and will let you know about this as well. Choppertown is "A Place For Chops" and also welcomes all bikes and motorcycle enthusiasts, as well as friends and family.  We have plenty of space.  Parking is free. We are creating an outdoor experience that preserves the natural beauty of the surroundings which includes great views of the Black Hills and Bear Butte Mountain.  We will have good food, good people, and great bikes to see which we believe is a combination for good times and creating lasting shared memories.   The 10-day plan of activities so far will include raffle prizes and winners (go the website to participate in the, special celebration day for KICKSTARTERS, RISERS AND ROCKERS ( 3-separate days)  as well as lady riders, young riders, and  new riders; bringing together industry builders--Garage and Pro, and a  daily "think tank" and Q&A with selected custom bike builders and biker enthusiasts.  We will have ongoing photography and video over the course of the 10 days to capture the great moments and highlights of the event which may be posted on websites, magazines,  social media and other media outlets. By entering and by your presence at the event, you (as well as any minors that accompany you) consent to be photographed, filmed and/or otherwise recorded for these purposes.  If you do not wish to be photographed, filmed or recorded--then please do not enter the event.
