INDIE WEEK prides itself on being an artist-friendly festival that provides valuable opportunities for networking, exposure, and education through industry panels and seminars mixed in with artist showcases. All showcases have been judged by industry professionals in A&R, management, productions, legal, etc. - meaning accepted artists are guaranteed to perform in front of industry. The festival is strategically scheduled to take place right the week following POP MONTREAL and before CMJ (New York) and POP EXPLOSION HALIFAX - giving international and local acts an opportunity to maximize their touring budgets & planning by having an opportunity to take part in more than one festival during the month of October.
