Dalton Michael Gambino (born August 12, 1992), better known by his stage name Bigg Damage, is an American record producer and rapper.
Born in Naples, Florida, to Ali (Marie) Simpson and estranged father Marco Ringo Gambino, he is reportedly of Irish, German, African, Indian, Australian and Italian descent.
Damage stands as one of the highest-rated and most talked about figures on Myspace.com, and remains to appeal & surprise critics everywhere.
He has released countless national hits.
In 2006, Damage recorded his first official tape, "Trilogy". In 2007, he released an independent underground EP named "True Damage".
Damage's third project, his first official album titled "Myself", is highly acclaimed by critics everywhere, and is said to be released somewhere in September of 2008.
Branching out from the overly-crowded pool of commercial stars, Damage is infamous for his extensive use of obscene language and criticized for his similarity to famous rapper Eminem.
As Damage succeeded in growing fame, so did the stress levels.
Struggling with constant hatred against his "different" style, his music took a quick turn to the dark side.
With songs like "Mr. Bush", "Red Riding Hood", and his later freestyles, focus on comparisons to Eminem came unfavorably.
After a considerably long hiatus, Damage created a somewhat split-personality, unafraid to say whatever he felt, and backlashed at those who crossed him in his past.
In a few short months, Damage has gone from being one of the most provocative emcees independent hip-hop has seen for the past 9 years, to an overnight success of his surreal humor and brutal edginess the industry had lost.
Approval of a worldwide audience was the last thing on his mind.
"I'm not going to care about anyone who doesn't give a sh*t about me, therefore what you see right now...expect it for the rest of your life."
