Description
Membership is open to all who wish to heighten parishionersâ awareness of issues related to social justice. Members form an intentional community, with an emphasis on prayer and a commitment to action on behalf of the poor and vulnerable. Members plan and implement social justice programs and respond to the needs of the poor, the oppressed, the marginal, and the excluded. The team also connects with other community groups and churches in a broad range of ministries, such as education, environmental concerns, advocacy, assistance to refugees, and service to the hungry, the homeless, and the unemployed.
