Alta Loma "Thoroughbred Lane" Christmas lights extravaganza!

This is another annual tradition. These are million dollar homes, and most set up the most amazing display of lights and decorations you have ever seen. It has become somewhat of a commotion over the years, city police now direct traffic through. BUT, we can also bundle the kids and walk the route. It is TRULY amazing! We can tote them in wagons or strollers; the older kids can walk, and you will be treated to caroling, tamales, and hot chocolate along the way. The main thing I have to figure out is where we would meet to park ( I know there is a church a few blocks away) and then can trek on from there. If you have not been, you will (and the kids) be truly amazed. There are decorated golf carts, horse-drawn carriage rides, and many jolly home-owners to meet along the way. I will solidify all meet details before-hand. * IF you do not like crowds this may not be for you, as it gets quite crowded, but WELL worth it truly! Otherwise, if we want to drive the route, carpooling definitely, and it will be quite a wait to drive through. IF anyone might be interested in securing a Limo and sharing the cost, I MAY have a contact. Let me know.
