Common Ground is taking action to 'Stand In Peace' every Tuesday, on a weekly basis, from 4:00 to 5:00 pm at the corner of Irvine Boulevard and Prospect Avenue in Tustin. This effort is a shift to a slightly different model than what is generally seen in these kinds of activities today. There is no intention to stand 'in favor of' or 'against' anyone or anything. The intention is to express respect for all of life. The idea of standing in peace was chosen rather than the idea of standing for peace because the intention is 'to be the vibration of peace' - first taking individual responsibility for peace within, and then demonstrating that quality of peace as a way of being in the world on a daily basis. Come be the change you want to see in the world. Anyone who wants to stand in peace is invited to join the effort ~ teens, children, parents, grandparents, policemen, business people, retirees, other-abled, disenfranchised, politicians, doctors ~ Everyone is welcome!
On the MySpace bulletin board page click "Post Bulletin".
