Wednesday Night Winter Camp Kick-off! Come learn about our adult and children's Life Groups that will begin on Wednesday, January 14 and run through March 11. What is a "Life Group"? A Life Group is a group of people coming together on a regular basis to learn about and grow in the knowledge of a specific topic. You'll find a group where you can be yourself, share a laugh, shed a tear and grow as we learn to do 'life together'! Winter Camp 2009 Life Groups: 1. Value Packed Parenting: (Interest group for parents, grandparents, teachers, child care workers) Come join other real people just like you who want to grow in the area of parenting and working with children/youth. This DVD based teaching series is Dr. Kevin Leman's newest resource to help us raise rock-solid children in today's pleasure-driven world. We will learn about 7 main topics: The 10 Best Gifts You'll Ever Give Your Kids, How to Listen So Kids Will Talk & How to Talk So Kids Will Listen, Discipline Isn't Spelled P-U-N-I-S-H-M-E-N-T, 10 Ways to Improve Your Child's Self-Confidence, Caution: Anger Ahead, Birth Order and What You Need to Know About It, and Standing Up to the New Goliath. 2. Especially for Ladies, Beth Moore Bible Study: (Interest group for women both married and single) 3. Digging Deeper into The Bible: (Interest group for men, women, married, single, all ages) 4.
