The Broken Arrow Community Playhouse is proud to present &147;A Christmas Story&148; by Philip Grecian based on the memoir by humorist Jean Shepherd. Directed by Curt and Deborah Bradshaw who last season brought us the hilarious &147;A Bad Year for Tomatoes.&148; They have once again assembled a cast that is sure to bring this classic tale to life and leave you laughing long after you leave the theatre. The cast includes: Caleb Cascairo, Mark Cascairo, Abby Cascairo, Larz Coleman, Justin Duncan, Christopher Johnson, Karyn Lee Maio, Hope Morris,David Nold, Zsa Olson and Josh Soltis.

&147;A Christmas Story,&148; is a comedy by Philip Grecian based on the beloved holiday motion picture of the same name by Jean Shepherd, based on his memoirs of growing up in middle class American life in the 1940s. The story follows nine year old Ralphie Parker in his quest for a genuine Red Ryder 200-Shot Carbine Action Range Model BB gun for Christmas. Ralphie pleads his case before his mother, his teacher and even Santa Claus himself, at Goldbatts Department Store. The consistent response: &147;Youll shoot your eye out, kid.&148; All the elements from the beloved motion picture are here, including the familys exploding furnace: Scut Farkas, the school bully; the boys experiment with a wet tongue on a cold lamppost; the Little Orphan Annie decoder pin;Ralphies fathers major prize, the infamous leg lamp and more. We hope you will come laugh with us this Christmas season.
