Description
This year celebrates the 59th anniversary of the Winterhaven Festival of Lights! The Winterhaven neighborhood, located in central Tucson, welcomes thousands of visitors every year for two magical weeks in December. Visitors to the Festival will see Winterhaven's majestic trees decorated in dazzling lights and will enjoy seeing wonderful decorations and lights on Winterhaven homes. We will meet somewhere close to the Winterhaven North entrance and start our hike through the neighborhood streets. Please dress warmly, it may be a cold evening. The hike should take 2 hours, beginner and dog friendly hike. There may be cookies and hot chocolate after the event, if someone close cares to host, let me know. Please bring a can of food for the Community Food Bank.
