“Phoenix Fridas” folk-art exhibition

This group exhibition features artists from the local womens art collective, The Phoenix Fridas. These cool chicks (as they call themselves) love artist Frida Kahlo and use her namesake for their group. Their work focuses around Mexican folk-art traditions, and group members work with diverse media including paint, jewelry, fashion, quilting and kitchy crafts.
