This self-facilitated writing group for adults will share personal essays, autobiographical works and/or journal entries. It will begin structured around author Sheila Bender's books, Writing Personal Essays and Keeping a Journal You Love.

These books include exercises for writing as well as critiquing another's work. There is room for discussion and suggestions of other books to use as guides for this group.

There is no writing assignment for the first meeting. We will meet to share ideas for the focus of the writing group and meetings.
We will not meet in December due to the busy holiday season. This time may be used to read the above listed books and prepare your writings for January's meeting.

Pending our group discussion, our next meeting will be Monday, January 25, 6-7pm, and would continue every 4th Monday of the month.

Additional information: For those attending the program a two-hour free parking validation is available for the garage directly below the library.
