The foreclosure crisis is ravaging our communities and hurting our economy. 2 million families have lost their homes to foreclosure this year, and millions more will be threatened in the coming year. Aside from the human tragedy of lost homes, communities are being torn apart by vacancies and lowered property values, and city and state budgets are being decimated. Join us as we work to inform community residents in high foreclosure communities about the help available through housing counseling and government agencies to save their homes and avoid foreclosure. We will be out canvassing the neighborhoods with the highest rates of foreclosure and giving them the information they need for them to save their home!
