Walking Event: Hedges Creek Wetlands

HEDGES CREEK WETLANDS WALK - The route travels on sidewalks and asphalt & gravel pathways. Pass by 4 of the oldest remaining homes of the "original city of Tualatin" and then continue on your walk to enjoy some newer Tualatin neighborhoods & homes as well. You will pass by the Tualatin Country Club & Golf Course where you may have to peak through the arborvitae to get a good look at this exclusive golf course. Walk through Winona Cemetery, a pioneer cemetery, where the Gr. Gr. Grandson of Daniel Boone is buried. Enjoy some recently completed pathways through the Hedges Creek Wetlands on your way to discover the Tualatin Heritage Center (previously a Methodist Pioneer Church) and one of Tualatin's oldest cultural resources. After leaving the Heritage Center, walk through a park on your way to Commonwealth Lake and to the finish. WOC - Arches, Libraries, Water Holes, Waterways, Golf Courses, Counties (Washington), & Pioneer Churches.
