Start Point Address / Driving Directions:
18170 Park Entrance Road. Phone: 540-221-7181. From the North on I-95: Use Exit 150B. Follow signs to Prince WIlliam Forest Park. Park's entrance is on the right. Follow Entrance Road to Visitor Center for registration. From South on I-95: Use Exit 150 and bear left to Joplin Road (SR-619). Turn left on Joplin Road and pass under I-95 overpass to Park entrance on the right. Follow Entrance Road to Visitor Center for registration. Event Description: Daily, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas. $5.00 Park Entrance fee will be collected at entrance station or Visitor Center. Park may close in inclement weather. Two trails are available. One trail is along fire roads and a paved scenic loop with excellent views of spring and fall trees and access to most of the park's trailheads. Trail is suitable for jogging strollers. Rated at 1+. The second trail traverses steep terrain as it follows interior park trails and fire roads. It offers spectacular views of streams and Piedmont forest communities. Sturdy boots and tick repellent recommended along with adequate water. Rated at 2+
