Event details: Traverse City Wine & Art Festival
Description
The inaugural Traverse City Wine & Art Festival will take place on Saturday, August 22 from 5-10 PM at the Grand Traverse Commons in front of Building 50 in a secured festival lawn setting. The festival is being organized by the Leelanau Peninsula Vintners Association and designed to become a landmark celebration of wine, food and culture of northwest lower Michigan and Michigan's wine coast. The evening will feature wines from 25 wineries from the Leelanau and Old Mission Peninsulas, 4 food vendors, a stage with entertainment from 3 bands and the Michigan Dance Collective. We're also partnering with Art Center Traverse City who will have 30 artists in booths outside the tent. Tickets are limited and may be purchased online at traversecitywinefestival.com for $20 each.
