Description:
This workshop teaches you a proven and accepted approach to Starting a Successul Business. You will know and understand exactly what needs to be done to keep your business on track for growth and profitability. Upon completion, you will receive a Certificate of Achievement. The sessions will cover the following topics: Entrepreneurship, marketing and sales, operational principles, structural considerations, insurance issues, funding, financial basics (recordkeeping, cash flow, financial statements and break-even)and the business plan. Workshop presented by Greater Baltimore SCORE Chapter #3. Workshop is $40 per person. This is a two-day workshop, class will be held on consecutive days (Wed./Thurs.) from 6:30pm to 9:30pm each day. You must attend both sessions in order to complete this course. Pre-registration is requested. To prepay, plesae send in registration form with payment or call SCORE office with credit card information to register. To register at the door, arrive 30 minutes before class starts. Workshops will be cancelled without notice if Baltimore County schools are closed due to inclement weather. If reasonable arrangements are needed for persons with disabilities, please call and discuss with SCORE. Location: Towson United Methodist Church, 501 Hampton Lane, Baltimore, MD 21286.
