Event Information:
HopeWell Cancer Support invites runners and walkers to show their support for people living with cancer at its 11th annual Reach Out And Run 5K Race/Walk (ROAR) on Sunday, April 27 at 8:30 a.m. on the campus of Goucher College in Towson. Race participants will meet at Goucher’s Kraushaar Auditorium for the official race kickoff and a hot breakfast provided by Rainforest Café. Participants can choose between a 5K race/walk or a 1K walk. Trophies and gift certificates will be awarded to the top three men and women in seven age groups and the top finishing cancer survivors in the 5K race. Proceeds from the event benefit HopeWell Cancer Support, an independent, unaffiliated nonprofit organization that provides support services and programs – at no charge - addressing the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, intellectual, and creative needs and interests of people with cancer and those who love them.
