5k and 2k Turkey Trot

Eat guilt free this Thanksgiving after running in the Y of Central Maryland’s annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving day. Families are invited to run, walk, or trot at the 5K run and 2K walk which are perfect for the entire family, including kids of all ages! This event is a great way to kick off the season of giving; all proceeds from the race will benefit the Y’s Annual Giving Fund, which provides Y programming for children and youth such as camp and after school programs for families in the Towson community who could not otherwise afford them.

The top finishers in each age group will be given turkeys as prizes. Walk awards will be given to the youngest and oldest participants, largest group or family participating, most dollars raised, and most pledges secured. All registered participants will receive a long sleeve Turkey Trot t-shirt. Free child watch will be offered for children too young to “trot!”
