Description
The ROM comes alive at night for kids ages five and up
An after-hours adventure at the ROM for families with children aged five and older. The ROMkids: Egypt sleepover includes an on-site movie screening with fellow adventurers, an introduction to the museum's mummies and late night access to the museum's many exhibits. Children can speak with experts on Egypt and take part in Egyptian-themed crafts, before participating in PJ Karaoke and having a midnight snack. Families will sleep in the Samuel Hall Cullery Gallery, and are offered breakfast in the museum's food studio beginning at 7 a.m.
One adult participant (19+) is required for every five children attending a ROM sleepover. Sleepover guests are given exclusive access to the ROM Museum Store between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. on the morning after a sleepover. Participants must bring their own pillow and sleeping bag; a sleeping mat is suggested.
