The Ontario Sustainable Energy Association (OSEA) will host its first annual Community Power Conference this November 15-16. With David Suzuki as the Honourary Chair, the conference will celebrate the Micro FIT and Feed-in Tariff programs that will be instrumental to the success of Community Power projects in Ontario, making the province a national leader with its policy to promote green energy.

Sponsors for the first annual Community Power Conference include: the Ontario Power Authority, Province of Ontario, Hydro One, the World s Greenest Business Card and MPH Graphics.

The conference will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, South Building, 800 Level on November 15-16, 2009.

According to OSEA, Community Power is a class of sustainable energy projects that are owned, developed and controlled in full or in part (50 per cent or more) by residents of the community in which the project is located.
