On March 26, 1959, the York University Act, passed by the government of Ontario, received Royal Assent. An exhibit commemorating the passage of the Act, including originals and reproductions of archival photographs, architectural drawings, written documents and artifacts will be on display. The exhibit will provide a visual overview of the history and accomplishments of York. This exhibit at The Legislative Assembly of Ontario will be held in tandem with the virtual exhibit on the libraryâs Web site.
