His self-titled debut album sky-rocketed to #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, and produced three hit singles on the Hot Country Songs charts: "A Different World,” "It's Good to Be Us,” and "I'll Walk." His soon to be released sophomore album has spawned the pre-release hit single “I Want My Life Back.”

Bucky Covington adds a new twist to the notion that winning is everything. The eighth-place finalist on the fifth season of the runaway hit TV show American Idol, Covington has now parlayed that into a burgeoning country music singing career. And that was exactly what he set out to accomplish. "The main reason I wanted to get on the show was to get enough recognition to start a career," explains the 29-year-old native of Rockingham, North Carolina.
