Open daily dawn to dusk. Two trails to choose from: Town Trail (rated 1+) is on paved road shoulders and sidewalks and passes a covered bridge. Catoctin Mountain Park Woods Trail in Cunningham Falls State Park (rated 3+) is a natural trail that includes a stop at Maryland's highest waterfall, a 78 foot drop, and overlooks at Thurmont Vista. Trails are in Frederick County. The Town Trail qualifies for special programs: Cemetery Stroll, Covered Bridge, Railroad Heritage, and U.S. Presidents. The Woods Trail qualifies for National Heritage and State Parks.
