4th Annual Saddle Up for St. Jude's Trail Ride and Family Fun Day

The Shelby County 4-H Horse Club is having their 4th Annual Saddle-Up for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital Trail Ride and Family Fun Day on November 8th at "The Sullivans' at Evergreen Farm" in Thorsby, AL. We raised $5,000.00 last year and hope to top that this year. The cost to ride is $35.00 per riding participant, $15.00 for each additional family member (lunch included), and one free t-shirt per family. You can make donations of any amount and all proceeds go to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. There will be Horse "Angel" paintings, facepainting, hay rides, pony/horse rides, cake walk, door prizes, silent auction, and roping and horse drill team demonstrations. The trails are well-marked and safe and are available for every rider's ability: beginner, intermediate and advanced. There will be gospel and country singing throughout the day. Lunch is from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Please leave your pets at home. Bring a chair or blanket!
