Afternoon Hike - Ranger Trail in South Mountain

Due to having a Search & Rescue Training on Sunday, Nov 1st, this hike has to be moved (again--sorry!!!) to Monday, late afternnon South Mountain Date: November 9th Time: 4:30 pm Trail: Ranger Trail - we will hike to the end of Ranger Trail and take a left on National Trail and go a little further where you will see the most amazing views. During this time we will enjoy our snacks, because you certainly have deserved a break Length 3.2 Difficulty: Moderate - steep switchbacks toward the top end. I have had beginners on this hike, but please know your strengths and weaknesses when it comes to hiking. What to bring: Sunglasses, sunscreen, snacks, brimmed hat, cambera, 2 liters of Water The weather should be nice in the afternoon. Direction to Ranger Trailhead - South Mountain Park is located @ the end of Central Avenue. Once you enter thee park, turn left at the one mile marker (one mile in on the main road of the Central Avenue entrance). The trailhead parking lot is the first driveway on the right.
