Central Presbyterian Church will observe the Second Sunday of Advent on Sunday, December 9, 2007.
Fellowship time with refreshments will be at 9:30 A.M.
Sunday School begins at 9:45 A.M. with classes for children and adults.
You are invited to join us at 10:35 A.M. for Revival and Praise Singing.
Our main worship service begins at 10:50 A.M.
The Scripture lessons will be: Isaiah 11:1-10, Psalm 72:1-7, 18-19, and Matthew 3:1-12.
Pastor Pollock will preach on "Prepare the Way".
The congregation will sing the following hymns: "Hail to the Lord’s Anointed", "Come, Thou Long-Expected Jesus", and "Lift Up Your Heads, Ye Mighty Gates".
We are inviting people to place Advent symbols on the trees throughout the sanctuary during the appropriate time during the worship service. You may pick up the symbols at either of the entrances before service each week during Advent.
