Building Block Blitz at Galleria At Pittsburgh Mills

Cost: Free - Free to watch. Participants have goals to raise funds to participate.
Join Habitat for Humanity Allegheny Valley and youth from our area schools at the Habitat Building Block Blitz as they „Help Build It‟ in our area!

The Blitz will be held at the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills in the Macy's Court on Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 12:30-3:30 PM.

25 Teams of three (3) youth ranging from 5th to 10th grade (but we‟re open to other ages also) will participate and compete for exciting prizes. To participate youth are required to start an online, individual fund-raising page by visiting www.habitatav.org and reach out to friends, family, neighbors and other people in their network to raise a minimum amount at $75 each, ($225 per team). All funds raised will support the mission of Habitat for Humanity Allegheny Valley and help build or renovate safe, decent and affordable homes for those in need of housing in the Allegheny Valley.
