Beth Haidle, has taught various classes at the Harwood including Wearable Art, a weekly after school teen art class held on Fridays from 4-6 in the Museum’s dedicated art studio, the Fern Hogue Mitchell Education Center. Known for her delicate pen and ink drawings on clayboard which recall Victorian pattern books and are in fact unusual hybrids inspired by flora, fauna and creatures both animal and man-made. Her work is on view locally at the Love Apple Restaurant and Café Loka. Beth also produces her own series of mini-handsewn comic books.
