Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers

Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers announced that the first 10 dates of their 2010 summer tour will be re-routed to September and October to accommodate the delayed arrival of their highly anticipated new album, Mojo. The Tampa date, originally slated for Sunday, May 9, 2010 at the St. Pete Times Forum, was rescheduled for Thursday, September 16, 2010. Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers regret any inconvenience caused to fans and hope they can make the rescheduled dates. Rock legends ZZ Top will share the stage with Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers on 10 of the tour dates, beginning in Tampa on September 16.

Tickets purchased for the original May 9 date will be honored for the rescheduled show on September 16. Refunds are available at the point of purchase if desired. At this time, it has not been confirmed whether Joe Cocker will still appear as special guest on the rescheduled shows. More information is expected to be released soon. Mojo, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers’ first new album since 2002, will now be released on June 15 on Reprise Records.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002, their first year of eligibility, and in recent years have continued to build on their already legendary success.
