New Meetup: July PhotoWalk - Sunrise over St. Petersburg Marina Basin/Tampa Bay

This could be a once in a lifetime opportunity. When was the last time a meetup organizer "paid" you to attend a PhotoWalk? The NPL Gift Card comes with no strings attached, meaning no minimum purchase is required and it's valid for all their services. The only caveat is the card must be used by August 31, 2010. I've received numerous requests to have a sunrise PhotoWalk and here is your chance. This morning we'll met in front of the St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Art (next to Straub Park) and proceed to the bay to photograph the rising sun (6:55 AM). The backdrop will be the sailboats in the basin and Tampa Bay. This is a great location for a sunrise and there are plenty of opportunities for those that want to practice HDR as well. After the sunrise, we'll explore the areas along Beach Drive and will travel towards the Pier, or some photowalkers may travel through the downtown area along Central Avenue and then to the Historic St. Petersburg Post Office. After the walk we'll get some breakfast and do some chimping. I've not yet picked the location for this, but it will probably be one of the restaurants along Beach Drive or Central Avenue.
