The Tacoma Dome first opened its doors to the public in April, 1983. The indoor arena is located around 30 miles south of Seattle. With a total seating capacity of 23,000 and when overall volume is taken into consideration, the Tacoma Dome is the single largest arena with a wooden dome in the world.The venue is tailor-made for sports, and over the years has hosted a wide variety.
