Description
Harold and Nancy LeMay amassed the largest privately owned collection of automobiles, motorcycles, trucks, and other vehicles and related memorabilia in the world. Today, you can view this national treasure-over 350 vehicles-at the grounds of the historic Marymount Academy. Almost every year and brand sold in America during the 20th century is represented from the early brass era through the muscle cars of the 1970s. On display are familiar names: Ford, Chevrolet, Buick, Chrysler, Oldsmobile, Cadillac, Dodge, Mercury, and Pontiac as well as those from a storied past such as Tucker, Packard, Kaiser, Pierce Arrow, LaSalle, Studebaker and Hudson. These are just a few of the many classics you can see today at the LeMay Museum.

The LeMay Museum's permanent home will be located in down-town Tacoma, adjacent to the Tacoma Dome, with a scheduled opening in 2009 or 2010.

But you don't have to wait! You can view this unique and magnificent collection at the historic Marymount Academy located just 35 minutes from downtown Tacoma. Docent guided tours are led Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm. Summer hours include Sundays 12 to 5 pm. Reservations are recommended.
