Want guilt-free swapping? It’s here!

♦ WHAT IS IT?

Bring in your pre-loved clothes, accessories & shoes. Everything you’ve grown out of love with? Swap it away - do your overflowing wardrobe a favour (no, you’re not alone) & give that clutch or summery dress a new life in another wardrobe.

It’s all in the spirit of greater sustainability AND all proceeds from ticket sales will be going directly to East Timor’s Youth Livelihoods program, helping to alleviate the poverty of Timorese youth. It’s one of those lovely win-win situations!

♦ WHAT’S GOT US SWAPPING

The Youth Livelihoods Program, supported by the Oaktree Foundation (we were the ones behind Sydney’s ‘Make Poverty History’ concerts) is working to empower Timorese youth through education. When you purchase a ticket to join our clothes swap, you will be directly investing in the lives of Timorese youth - helping to achieve real and sustainable change.

Doing some good for East Timor, while trading in your old treasures for new ones? We can't wait!

♦ HOW THE CLOTHES SWAP WILL WORK

Step 1: Search through your wardrobes, and pull out all those clothes and accessories you no longer wear. Dresses, shoes, clutches, pants, jewelry - swap it away!

There are absolutely no restrictions on the number of items you may bring (minimum: 1). The more you bring, the more you can walk away with.

We do ask that you please bring only gently used or new clothes that are wearable (we will be checking the quality of the items at the door). If you'd lend it to a friend, it's good to be swapped with a stranger!

Step 2: Bring all items to the door at 10 am.

If you're bringing clothes, please make sure they are cleaned, neatly presented, and on hangers!
Any accessories should be in bags.

Step 3: Sit back and relax til 11.30 am when the swapping begins!

For each item you bring in on the day, you will receive a token, which you can then use to exchange for another item.

Each item = 1 token, and vice versa.

Step 4: Swap ‘til you drop!

We all love to do our bit, so please help the environment and bring your own bags to take away your new clothes & accessories in. We won't be providing plastic bags.

There will be communal change rooms if you would like to try on items.

Step 6: Stick around for the fashion parade!

Bring out your inner catwalk fierceness and strut it out in your new items - who knows, you may be snapped up by our Swaptorialist for our “Vintage Style” Gallery Page! Have you got what it takes? Best dressed walks away with a fantastic prize! (We wish we could win it)

If, at the end of the day, there's anything that hasn't been swapped away, it will be donated to charities.
