DELTA Goodrem is set to return to her hometown of Sydney for a special one night only show at the Sydney Opera House on Sunday December 6, 2009.
Presented by Sanitarium So Good, the award winning singer songwriter and her band will take over the Concert Hall of the prestigious Sydney Opera House to perform Christmas Carols and a selection of Goodrem’s most popular hits from her highly acclaimed albums Innocent Eye’s, Mistaken Identity and Delta.
DELTA Goodrem said of her special one night only show; “Christmas is such an important time of the year - it’s a time of love and being with those who are most important to you. I’m thrilled to be able to perform at the Sydney Opera House and to my incredible fans during a time of celebration and togetherness.”
The concert will be Goodrem’s first solo show on the world-class stage of the Sydney Opera House with the singer performing a string of songs from her stellar career. The concert will see Goodrem return from the US where she is currently songwriting for her fourth studio album.
Fans will be able to vote for their favourite Christmas carol to be part of the special one night only show set list via Goodrem’s own website: www.deltagoodrem.com. The carols set list will be published the day of show. The concert will provide fans with the ultimate fun night of music for all the family.
On September 18th Goodrem released her Believe Again Tour DVD from her first national Australian tour in over three years. Today, the DVD has debuted in the #1 position on the ARIA DVD chart. The Believe Again sell-out concert tour was filmed at the State Theatre in Sydney earlier this year with Goodrem up close and personal around the nation performing hits from her stellar career and her most recent ARIA winning & #1 selling album of 2008 Delta.
