The Body Awakening class focuses on movement to increase the Qi (energy) in the body, strengthen the immune system, build physical strength and stamina, increase joint flexibility, open up the meridians in the body, and develop the body's natural healing abilities. Movements in the class include breathing meditation (Qigong), stretching and strengthening exercises, and an introduction to Tai Chi.
