Holiday Fun Scramble Tournament - Mixed Levels

Let's keep the holiday season roll with our 20th Hole Scramble tournament on December 5. Location: Sunken Gardens Levels: mixed Format: Texas Scramble Max. participants: 16 Tee times: aiming for 10:30 AM start Tournament fee: $10 payable at the event Green fees apply Texas scramble rules: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you_play_a_Texas_Scramble_in_golf Registration: Registration begins one hour before the first tee time. OUR 4 CAPTAINS ARE ALFONSO, JIM, AMY AND DAVID. Thank you for stepping up! Names of the rest of the group will be put into a hat and the team captains will draw 3 names each to determine their team after registration. Scoring: Team captains will be responsible for maintaining game decorum and scoring. After the games, the organizer will receive 4 score cards. Best group score wins. Prizes: First place team - gift baskets Second place team - gift packs 3rd and 4th place teams - consolation prize Hole-in-one - bottle of wine Other info: This is a non-sponsored event. Food is tricky, as the Sunken Gardens grill closes early and it is frowned upon to bring food from outside. Also, if weather forces game reschedule, we might end up with grill reservation problems. So I plan, instead, to provide appetizers and award the prizes after the game. If folks are interested in sitting down some more, we can head on to Chili's for a meal. Amy offered to help with registration. PAYMENT: Please prepare $10 to cover the registration cost, separate from the green fees with Sunken Gardens.
